- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
- Add the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice to a bowl. Let sit briefly until the fruit releases juice.
- Blend the strawberry mixture until smooth. Strain if a smoother finish is preferred.
- Stir in the whole milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until evenly combined.
- Chill the mixture completely before adding it to the I03 machine bowl.
- Select the ice cream mode and run until the mixture reaches a smooth frozen texture.
- Serve immediately for a softer texture, or freeze briefly for a firmer scoop.
