I’ve been making espresso at home for a while now, and I recently upgraded my espresso machine after my previous one broke beyond repair. I got a good 15 years out of it, so I splurged on a really nice machine. I like it, but it is way more sensitive to the amount of coffee I put in the portafilter than my old machine. I used to be able to scoop the grounds into the portafilter and get consistent pulls. However, with my new machine, there is a much smaller window. This scale helps me with consistency. It seems accurate, but what I’m more interested in is precision. Using this scale is simple, and I’m happy with the results. I highly recommend this scale if you need one.

I measure coffee beans every morning to freshly grind and brew using the pour-over method. I was using a small cup and a larger kitchen scale to measure my beans, and this product takes the place of both of those. This is the perfect size and design to easily measure my coffee beans. It also takes up less space in my coffee area which I love. I tested this scale against the one I currently use and it was spot-on in terms of accuracy. I like the light up display and think it's extremely easy to operate. The two button design is simple to use and the screen is easy to read. It's also really easy to clean which I appreciate. The whole thing feels very heavy duty and well made and I can see this lasting for years to come. I love that it charges with USB-C rather than batteries like my old scale. I've been using it for a couple weeks off of the initial charge it came with and it's still going strong. I can see this being good to measure other small things in the kitchen as well such as for cooking or baking. Another thing I appreciated about this was that it came entirely in cardboard and had no plastic waste. I'm really happy with this and think it's a good value overall.
